YARMOUTH, Maine--The educational program for the May 18-20 Security Business
Development Forum, a conference dedicated to helping security integrators and
installers create RMR and grow their business, has been finalized, the editors
of Security Systems News announced on March 12.
"The two-day conference
includes two educational tracks: residential and commercial, each with six
sessions focusing on new business models, non-traditional fields that are
compatible with traditional businesses and best practices," said Sam Pfeifle,
editor of Security Systems News. "We"re getting great feedback on our line-up of
panelists, people working in the industry today who will share their experiences
and expertise." The conference will take place at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in
Baltimore.
The first track, for residential installers and integrators,
features panels focusing on high-end home A/V, medical monitoring, the summer
selling season, GPS technology, residential video monitoring, and contract best
practices.
The second track, for commercial installers and integrators,
features panels focusing on making the ROI sell, moving into commercial fire
installation, finding an IT partner, virtual guard touring, mass notification,
and working in the regulated security market.
The conference is sponsored
by PSA Security and PSA-TEC, which is collaborating with United Publications on
educational programming.
