A Call for Papers has been announced for the Working
Group "BIOSIG - Biometrics and Electronic Signatures Workshop on
Biometric Border Control and Federated Identity Management (BIOSIG
2008)". The deadline for electronic submission of Papers is 15 May
2008. The Workshop will take place on 11 and 12 September 2008 at the
Fraunhofer Institute in Darmstadt, Germany.
BIOSIG 2008 on 11 and 12
September is jointly organized by CAST, the German Federal Office for
Information Security, the expert group BIOSIG of the Gesellschaft für
Informatik, and the 3DFace research consortium. Stakeholders
and technical experts from public administration, industry, science and
academia are invited to propose contributions to the program of the
workshop. Submissions should be extended abstracts (3-4 pages) or full
papers (max. 12 pages) in English. Submitted abstracts and papers will
be reviewed by the program committee. Accepted papers will be presented
